"Since I have not exercised in 20 years, and was 20 lbs heavier, I knew there was no way I was going to keep up with my husband, my 11 year old son and my 8 year old daughter. I refused to be one “those” moms who would sit at the end of the ski slope watching their family ski down the mountain! This was a family trip of a lifetime, and I was not going to be on the side lines watching! So in January 2008 I began PLS.
After 8 weeks of PLS training, I was physically at the point I could ski down the mountain (beginner and intermediate runs) alongside my family for 4 full days without much soreness! It was a great feeling of accomplishment.
Now I continue PLS, as it makes me feel better about myself and also being a full time working mom of an active family this one hour of working out is MY time."
