"These classes remind me of my growing up years when my family moved 4 times while I was in school. Every single time there was the proverbial bully looking for new meat and unlike the myth of warm and fuzzy stories that the bully was really a wimp-- I learned the bully was tough, strong and downright mean. I knew I couldn’t win but knew I had to stand my ground. After a few minutes on the ground getting the snot (literally) beat out of me I would manage a few good licks on the bully and after being put in a headlock and being screamed at dozens of times ---“say uncle” I would say” I will never give up”. He always walked away and never bothered me again.
Well, life is a lot like the playground bully. You can run away, say uncle or never- never give up .PLS continues to give me the confidence and determination to fuel that spirit of perseverance."
